DMCA & Takedown Policy

Last updated 29 Aug 2026

SnapTok respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid takedown notices. This page explains how to send one.

SnapTok hosts no content

SnapTok is a tool that helps users download public content from third-party platforms. We do not store, host or redistribute content. The most complete remedy is therefore usually a takedown request to the platform where the original content is posted.

That said, if you believe our service facilitates an infringement of your rights, you can send us a notice and we will review it.

What a notice must include

A valid notice should include:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The URL(s) or enough information to identify the content in question.
  • Your contact information (name, email).
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Your signature (electronic or physical).

Where to send it

Send your notice to admin@snaptok.app with the subject "DMCA". We usually respond within 1–2 business days.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address with an explanation and your contact details.
